The Riva
The Riva was formally known as rose cottage and was built around 1615 for the duke of Rutland to use as a fishing lodge. It has recently been completely modernised and refurbished in a sympathetic way in order to preserve its charm and character that its visitors have enjoyed for centuries.
Nowadays The Riva has established itself as one of the areas best restaurants. It boasts highly qualified and experienced chefs and a completely flexible attitude towards catering for the customers.
The restaurant consists of 3 main rooms seating upto 20 per room and each room having its own character and unique features.
All 3 rooms can be reserved for family or corporate event for tables of 8 or more giving it an upto date modern feel but retaining a family run friendly atmosphere.
